Meet the Animals

Dolly Princes Bonanza Bar (Dolly). Dolly is a 1999 red roan mare with a white blanket and spots. Her sire is The Regent and her dam is Trash Bar. Dolly currently has 2 ROM's. one in the broodmare halter class and one in foundation pedigree mares. She has multiple points in open, non-pro and youth classes. She has competed and earned points in a variety of events including driving. She is currently jumping up to 2'6", but will surely progress to higher fences within the year. She is ridden by all levels of students.
Zema Forever Velvet (Zema). Zema is a 1981 red roan Appaloosa gelding with a blaze and two white socks on his rear feet. Although we do not know a lot about his early years, we do know that Zema sired a filly at age three. Before Julie bought him, he was owned by one of her friends who trail rode, squirrel hunted, and roped off of him. Since then he has been trail ridden, shown, done demonstrations and been ridden in parades. He has qualified for the Appaloosa world show in more than one event and currently has ROM's in heritage, steer daubing, and ladies sidesaddle, as well as points in other events. He rides both English and Western and can carry beginners as well as advanced students.
Trucker Gumby's Secret (Trucker). Trucker is a 1981 red roan Appaloosa gelding with a white blanket and spots over his hips. We do not know a lot about his early years, except that he was donated to Murray State University, where he was a lesson horse in both English and Western, and where he participated in intercollegiate shows. Since Julie bought him, he has been trail ridden, shown, done riding demonstrations and been ridden in parades. He has an ROM in Heritage, has qualified for the Appaloosa world show in many English events and has points in both English and Western classes. He is an excellent beginner horse and can also carry advanced students.
Chief Lyell's Flying Fox (Chief). Chief is a 1993 chestnut Appaloosa gelding with a stripe on his face and white snowflakes over his hips. He was born in California at a racing stable. He had seven starts and one win before an accident in the chute ended his racing career. He was shipped to relatives in Missouri who put him in pasture but did not have much time to ride him. Julie bought him at age eleven and began re-training him for trail rides and shows. He has 2 Register of Merits -- one in hunter in hand geldings and one in Ladie's sidesaddle. He is currently being shown in other English classes. Although mainly English, he has been trail ridden quite a bit and thus can be also be ridden Western. He carries all levels of students and is the tallest horse in our barn.
Toby Zip Dun It (Toby). Toby is a 1996 Appaloosa gelding. His color was originally red dun with a big blaze and a blanket and spots over hip -- hence the name. He has since roaned out, however, into more of a leopard pattern with a chestnut mane and tail. Not a lot is known of his earliest years, but we do know that he was born in Missouri and not shown. It was said that the owner before the one Julie bought him from goat-tied off of him. Goat-tying is not an Appaloosa event, so there is no record of it. He was second in the nation in Pre-Green Hunter for 2007. He rides English and Western and is currently only ridden by intermediate and advanced students.
Jake (80K) R Secret Anniversary (Jake). Jake is a 2003 Appaloosa gelding. He is dark brown, has three socks, a star and stripe on his face, a silver/grey mane and tail, and a white blanket and spots over his hips. He was bred by Kim and Jeff Rumpsa in Ware, Missouri, which is not far from J-Squared. Jake is foundation bred and sired by Secret Mr. Bar Reed. He already has points in hunter in hand geldings, 2-year-old snaffle bit hunter under saddle and 2-year-old snaffle bit Western pleasure. He was second in the nation for Ladies' Sidesaddle in 2007 and has ROMs in Jr. Trail, Jr. Hunter Under Saddle and Ladies' Sidesaddle. He tied for first in the nation in Ladie's Sidesaddle with the Appaloosa Horse Club in 2008 and thus earned a bronze medallion. He also earned a versitality award in 2008. He carries intermediate to advanced students.
Beau (34K) One Mighty Dream (Beau). Beau is a 2002 bay gelding with a white balnket and spots. He has a star, stripe and snip on his face and a sock on his left rear leg. Beau is one of our younger lesson horses and is used in intermdiate to advanced lessons. As a yearling he was a very successful halter horse and has many points in weanling halter and most colorful. He rides English and Western, is jumping 2', and has Register of Merits in Western Pleasure, Halter Geldings and Hunter in Hand geldings. Beau is my husband Jeff's favorite horse to ride on a trail.
R Secret Cloud Nine (34K) R Secret Cloud Nine. A 2005 red roan Appaloosa gelding with a blaze and two rear stockings. He is currently 14.2 hands and rides western as well as english. He is doing very well on trails and has been started over fences. He has Registers of Merit in Open Hunter in Hand Stallions, Non-Pro Hunter in Hand Stallions, Aged Stallions and Foundation Pedigree Designation Stallions.
